Yes. The iPhone app is completely free, with no subscription, no ads, and no in-app purchases. Ever.

Do I need to pay for Pixel Candy Studio on Mac?

Pixel Candy Studio for Mac is a paid subscription (available on the Mac App Store). The iPhone app is free, but you need the Mac app to create and edit projects.

Is the iPhone app available on Android?

No. Pixel Candy for iPhone is only available on Apple's App Store for iOS devices.

How does iCloud sync work?

Projects created in Pixel Candy Studio for Mac automatically sync to your iPhone over iCloud. When you make changes on your Mac, your iPhone updates within moments. No manual upload or export needed.

Can multiple people use the same iCloud account to sync projects?

Yes, if they're signed into the same iCloud account on their devices, they'll see the same synced projects.

What if I don't want to use iCloud?

iCloud is the primary sync method. Without it, projects won't sync. You can use the app offline to view projects already on your phone, but new projects from your Mac won't appear.

Can I edit projects on my iPhone?

No. The iPhone app is a viewer and companion tool. To edit projects, use Pixel Candy Studio for Mac.

What iPhones support AR preview?

AR requires an iPhone with ARKit (iPhone 6s or later) and iOS 17 or later. Most modern iPhones support it.

Does AR work offline?

AR preview requires an internet connection to start, but once loaded, it can work offline.

Can I export projects from the iPhone app?

The iPhone app is a viewer. To export or edit, use Pixel Candy Studio for Mac.

Can I see the cable plan on my iPhone?

Yes. Once a project syncs to your iPhone, you can view the full cable plan (data runs and power circuits).

What iOS version do I need?

iOS 17 or later. AR preview requires ARKit, which is available on iPhone 6s and later.

How much storage does the app use?

The app itself is small (roughly 50-100MB). Project data is synced via iCloud, so it depends on your project sizes.

Does the app collect data about me?

No. We don't collect personal data, track usage, or send analytics. Your data stays on your devices and in your iCloud account. See our privacy policy for details.

What if the app crashes?

If the app crashes repeatedly, try:

• Force quit and reopen (swipe up from bottom)
• Restart your iPhone
• Check you have the latest iOS version
• Reinstall the app if needed

Do I need the Mac app and iPhone app together?

Yes. The iPhone app is a companion viewer. You create projects in Pixel Candy Studio for Mac, and they sync to your iPhone. They work best together.

Can I use the iPhone app without the Mac app?

No. Projects must be created in Pixel Candy Studio for Mac first, then they sync to your iPhone.
